Somewhere Else?

It seems we spend most of our lives wishing we were somewhere or something or someone else. When we are young, we want to be older. When we are old, we want to be younger. Our constant state of wanting more material goods is never satisfied.  Our desire to be faster, thinner, or prettier is never fulfilled. Our minds seem to be always saying “everything will be better when …”. Happiness must, then, be found in the present state of being. It must be this way - it is the only answer.
